－同年，Jeff和George Lowe及Kent Christensen共同首攀了位于Wind River山脉Squaretop峰难度为V 5.9的吸烟路线
－1978年，Jeff Lowe同George Lowe，Jim Donini，Michael Kennedy一同尝试攀登Latok I峰（海拔7144米）的北脊路线，并到达海拔6995米处
